Becoming a Member

At HBC we want membership to be a meaningful relationship based upon our love for Christ and for one another. We long for people to not only attend Hermon, but belong to Hermon as members who share our commitment to love God, love others, and reach the world. 

Hermon Baptist Church receives members in one of three ways:

(1) By baptism. The member has been baptized by immersion after receiving Jesus Christ as Savior;

(2) By transfer of letter. Individuals can ask Hermon Baptist Church to request a letter of transfer from a church of like faith; or

(3) By statement of faith. The new member states that he or she has been saved by God's grace and has experienced believer's baptism.
